I offer individual therapy geared toward getting more satisfaction and meaning from one's life and one's choices. My style is client-centered, interactive and supportive, guiding the client with questions and observations to the areas where the client has greater choice and empowerment.

Specific areas of expertise include (but are not limited to):
  • relationship satisfaction and intimacy issues
  • career decisions and satisfaction level
  • depression
  • anxiety
  • grieving the loss of a loved one
  • relationship transitions or breakups
  • job stress and the demands of professional life
  • creativity issues and blocks to finding one's own voice and expression
  • working through issues from childhood that may be affecting adult life
  • general dissatisfaction or feeling that life choices have not led to the satisfaction you hoped they would
Duration of therapy varies based on the client's goals. I am open to working short-, medium- or long-term. The work is focused on the present, to the extent possible, keeping the client's therapeutic goals for the present and the future in sight while engaging and addressing material from the past as necessary. I work individually with clients of all ages, particularly those in their mid-twenties to late-thirties who are reflecting on the life choices they have made so far.
